7 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing Umbwe Trek - Kilimanjaro

Umbwe Trek begins on the southern side of Mount Kilimanjaro at Umbwe Gate. This is a decently steep track, and is prescribed for the precise fit or encountered trekker. Steep backwoods ways offer approach to heath and moorland before getting rough, and this is the place the trek comes to be all the more testing. Approach to the summit is by means of Barafu and Stella Point with the drop being by means of Mweka.

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon arrival in the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), Arusha Airport (ARK) or Arusha or Moshi Bus Station, visitors will be directly met by our office representative . We will be standing outside the entry segment holding a signboard with your name on it. You will be transferred to Mountain Inn in Moshi for an overnight sit tight. In the evening, you will have pre–climb preparation on the trek/orientation. Overnight at Mountain Inn Moshi

Day 2: Moshi – Bivouac No 1 Camp

For the first section of the ascension, you will head to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate at Umbwe, and trek through the backwoods along a limited edge between the Lonzo and Umbwe Rivers to arrive at Bivouac No 1 at 9400ft/2800m for an overnight camp taking in the ballpark of four to five hours.

Day 3: Bivouac No 1 Camp – Barranco Camp

Leaving the timberland, the track presses on to accompany the edge, trekking through heather and open moorland to arrive at Barranco Camp at 13000ft/3900m for an overnight camp taking around the range of three to four hours.overnight will be at Barranco Camp on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 4: Barranco Camp site – Barafu Camp Site

The track climbs steeply out of Barranco Valley, crosses the Karanga Valley and turns north to arrive at Barafu Camp at 15500ft/4600m taking in the vicinity of eight to nine hours. Overnight will be at Barafu Camp on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 5: Barafu Camp Site – Mweka Camp site

A quite early begin to arrive at Stella Point in time for dawn, and after that to the most astounding focus in Africa -Uhuru Peak at 19340ft/5896m taking around the range of six to eight hours. Plummet through Barafu Camp site through the woodland to Mweka Camp site at 10000ft /3000m for an overnight camp taking something like five to seven hours.overnight will be at Mweka Camp on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 6: Mweka Camp site – Moshi

You will plunge through the woodland heading to Mount Kilimanjaro Park Gate at Mweka Wildlife College. The plunge will take three to four hours. You will be met and exchanged to Mountain Inn for your overnight stay.overnight will be at Mountain Inn Mosh.

Day 7: Mweka Camp site – Moshi

After breakfast, you will be exchanged to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), Arusha Airport (ARK) or Arusha or Moshi Bus Station for your takeoff. We prepare to leave for our flight back home realizing that this has been an experience to recall.
